Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 August 2026. This policy explains what JDW IT LLC collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website is operated by JDW IT LLC (“JDW IT”, “we”, “us”), an IT services business based in Mississippi, United States. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at support@jdwit.com.

Information you give us

The only place this website asks for personal information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number, and the description of your issue that you type in.

Please do not send passwords, license keys, financial account numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the form. If a support request requires that kind of information, we will arrange a secure method with you directly.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs for every visit, which typically include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you requested, referring page, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running, investigate errors, and protect against abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies, and it does not run an analytics platform. WordPress and the plugins that power the site may set functional cookies — for example, to remember that you already submitted the contact form, or to keep an administrator signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the contact form may behave less smoothly.

Third-party services on this site

Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, stores the site and processes server logs on our behalf. That is the only outside party involved in serving this website.

Typefaces are served from this server rather than from a font provider, and the contact form runs here as well, with spam checks that inspect submissions for automated abuse without passing your details to anyone else. This site does not embed maps, videos, advertising tags, or social media tracking scripts.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How we use your information

We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and deliver the support you ask for. If you become a client, we may keep the correspondence as part of the service record for that engagement. We use server logs for security, troubleshooting, and understanding general traffic levels.

We will not add you to a marketing mailing list from a support enquiry alone.

How long we keep it

Contact form emails are retained for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, for the life of the client relationship plus the period required for tax and business records. Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis by our host. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, kept current with security updates, and administrative access is limited to accounts that require it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take the same precautions here that we recommend to clients.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@jdwit.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where the GDPR applies, our lawful basis for handling contact form data is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because this site does not track visitors across other websites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honour those signals by default simply by not doing that kind of tracking.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
